Accessing CAPA Numbering Schemes

The CAPA record number displays as CAPA-1-NUM, CAPA-2-NUM, etc. The format of these numbering schemes can be modified from the Numbering Scheme record.

1. From the SmartSolve Portal Page, click the Home tab.
2. In the Setup and Policy section, click Setup.
3. In the System Wide section, click Numbering Scheme.
   Result: All available numbering schemes are displayed in the Numbering Schemes window.

NOTE: Changing the default Scheme Code “CAPA_NumberingScheme” will result in users no longer being able to create the CAPA record; therefore, only modify the format for this default. If you wish to add more numbering schemes for different types of CAPAs, you can create the new scheme codes and later attach them from the CAPA workflow.
